Cub Scout Oath (or Promise)
I
promise to DO MY BEST
To do my DUTY to GOD
And my Country
To HELP other people, and
To OBEY the LAW of the Pack

The Law of the Pack
The Cub Scout follows Akela.
The Cub Scout helps the pack go.
The pack helps the Cub Scout grow.
The Cub Scout gives goodwill.

The Cub Scout Motto
Do Your Best

Cub Scout Pack 35 is chartered by the Laguna Presbyterian Church in scenic Laguna Beach, California and part of the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America.

A highly active and progressive group, Pack 35 draws members from both Laguna Beach and surrounding cities.  Our leaders have a combined experience of nearly 50 years as Scouting volunteers and have been trained and recognized for volunteer service at Scouting's highest levels.

What do Cub Scouts in Pack 35 do?  Just about everything from A to Z--that is archery to zip line! And in between we do BB gun shooting, biking, boating and sailing, climbing, exploring nature, fishing, map and compass, photography, tomahawk throwing,  sports, and video games, just to name a few!

We have our own Family Olympics.

What more will your 6 to 11 year old get out of joining Pack 35?  Cub Scouting's all important life lessons, which are part of every activity we do  The "rules" in Cub Scouting are the Cub Scout Oath and Law of the Pack (see below).  Besides the physical activities above, Cub Scouts also cooperate on projects and badges that teach them citizenship, duty to family, and a love of the natural world.

Camping and outdoor activities are a big part of Pack 35's program, with overnight programs happening at least 4 times per year.  Our destinations are usually within 1 to 2 hours drive and are among the finest Scouting and non-Scouting facilities in southern California.

You can tell we're pretty fired up about helping young people have a great time while growing up to be responsible, honorable men.  If you'd like to learn more about Pack 35, drop us an email or visit one of our monthly pack meetings on the fourth Thursday of the month (September through May) at 6:30 PM at Laguna Prebyterian Church in beautiful downtown Laguna Beach!

Scoutorama Ticket Distribution Tuesday, March 27th

Posted on Mar 25 2012 - 10:17pm
Besides pinewood derby this Tuesday night, March 27th, we'll also be distributing tickets and collecting payment from each family for Scoutorama.  Please read below so you will "Be Prepared" for this.

Scoutorama is a Scouting carnival that showcases literally hundreds of outdoor activities and foods that are crazy fun.  Everyone should attend.  Details below.

Buying/selling Scoutorama tickets is a required fund-raiser for our pack's operation.  Every registered Cub Scout in Pack 35 is required to purchase six tickets at $10 each or $60 total.  Tickets will be distributed at Pinewood Derby, so please come prepared with a check for $60 made out to "Cub Scout Pack 35".

You can sell your tickets (or gift them) to friends, neighbors, work colleagues, or by joining us in selling tickets at Ralphs (on PCH & Cleo Street) at dates that will be distributed by committee co-chair Stacey Johnson.  Scouts can win prizes for selling more than their required six tickets.  See prize booklet on the May 12 calendar item on the website.

For those who can't attend Pinewood Derby, please connect with your den leader within 1 week of pinewood derby to give him your check and pick up your tickets.
